Can children join? 

There is no minimum age for the festival. Children under 12 years old can enter the festival without making a reservation when accompanied by their parents.

Re-entry is possible only if there is capacity. If you leave the festival there will be a possibility that we admit other people on site till we reach maximum capacity.

The festival is located at Rotonde Wenduine, Graaf Jansdijk, 8420 De Haan Belgium (GPS), alongside the beach. [Googlemaps]

You can best park your car in Wenduine or alongside the seaside outside Wenduine and take the Kusttram to “Wenduine Centrum”.

The closest train station is Ostend. Prepare your trip thanks to their route-planner on www.belgianrail.be

The easiest way to navigate at the Belgian Coast is the KUSTTRAM if joining us from any seaside town (De Panne – Knokke). Take halt “Wenduine Centrum”. Only 100 m away from the festival site. Prepare your trip on www.delijn.be

No. There are no lockers available at the festival.

Yes. We provide easy access to all parts of the property. There are toilets for the disabled people too.

Do we bring our own food or drinks?
A large variety of food and beverages is available at the festival. No food or drinks are allowed to be brought into the festival. Cigarettes are not sold at the festival.

Can I buy food and drink credits in advance?
No, you can’t.

Can I pay with cash on Retro sur Mer?
The festival is a cashless festival, but that doesn’t mean we don’t take cash. You can recharge your cashless card at the info point with cash money.

How do I recharge my cashless card?
There are several ways to recharge the card:
– You can scan the QR code on your card to check your balance and recharge your credit with your phone when necessary.
– You can go to one of the charging stations and recharge your card there.
– You can go the the info point and there you have the choice to recharge your card for cash.

Which old-timers are allowed and where?
Due to limited space (200 places only), we only accept pre-1975 oldtimers on the dike.
Cars in between 1975 and 1985 must park at the market, the central square of Wenduine.

When can the oldtimers join?
You can make a reservation for Friday, Saturday or/and Sunday. All the options to be found in the section “OLDTIMERS”

Is there security provided at night?
No. Cars can stay parked during the night on the dike and festival site at own risk.

I registered with my oldtimer, where do I go?

> PRE 1975
Please drive to Graaf Jansdijk Wenduine.

> POST 1975
Please drive to Markt Wenduine: via Leopoldlaan first, then Zuidzandstraat.

Make sure you have your ticket ready to show.

Yes. All the options to be found in the section “OLDTIMERS” above. 

When does the market happens?
The Market will be open on Friday 30/07 from 16h until 00h, Saturday 31/07 from 12h until 12h and Sunday 01/08 from 12h until 21h.

How can I have a stand?

We only accept stand-holders selling real vintage or qualitative modern brands reproducing vintage style items.

Retro Sur Mer conduct an absolute zero tolerance policy with regard to drugs. 

In case of any problems, we have a first aid post on site.
